Pastor Austin Darling, Jr.

 

In the summer of 1991, after an intimate time of fellowship with the Lord, Austin Darling, Jr. heard the voice of the Lord and immediately accepted, at the young age of 14, the call of God to minister to his generation.  From that moment on, he has continually embraced the Holy Spirit as his constant companion, guide and helper. With humble beginnings as a bold and active youth ministry member, high school prayer group leader and Sunday school teacher, he has been committed to furthering the gospel of Jesus Christ for over 33 years.

 

Always mindful of Isaiah 55:11, God’s word shall not return to Him void.  Austin believes that everyone can activate the power of God’s word by simple faith and trust in Him.   Known as a “mighty man of prayer”, he has been gifted by God with a prophetic prayer anointing to invoke breakthrough in every area of life.  Through inspirational teaching and preaching, he ministers to the whole person, spirit, soul and body.  Thereby equipping God’s people to live as Jesus desires, “Life more abundantly and have joy to the fullest”.

 

With a heart and spirit to please God, Austin has been trained in excellence and integrity. He was licensed and ordained under the apostolic and prophetic ministry of the late Bishop Isaiah Williams, Jr. and Dr. Gloria Williams, senior pastor and CEO of Jesus People Ministries Church International (JPMCI). Working under their leadership for over seventeen years as TV program editor and as the television producer, has allowed him a unique opportunity to present the gospel in new and creative ways.  

 

He is currently the pastor of Jesus People Victorious Living Church, located in the Ft. Lauderdale/ Pompano Florida area.  Each week as he teaches the incorruptible word of God, people learn practical ways to walk victoriously in their daily lives. Austin believes that it is his mandate to build people of prayer, people of power and people with passion to please God. At JPVLC we are “loving people and building lives”.

 

Austin is happily married to his wife Cheryl, since August of 2000.  They are the proud parents of a wonderful son, David.
